All our items are new and unused, with tags and original packaging.

Printing

Our products also include some broader context about the era and the players who wore them. The players listed are just a few of those who wore these jerseys and, unless explicitly specified, we are not able to apply these prints.

Issues

We hope this situation never arises, but in case of errors or problems with a purchase, please contact us and our customer support team will get in touch with you as soon as possible. The team always responds before 5 PM (UK time) on the next business day (Mon-Fri), although they usually respond sooner.

The storage possibilities largely depend on the available space. We store used stock on hangers, but our new products are kept folded in plastic bags inside boxes, so either option is fine.

Keep the jerseys in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Garment bags (plastic bags, garment bags) can be used but are not essential.

Washing and Drying

Most of the items we sell have tags attached explaining how to wash them. However, in many cases, these instructions are no longer suitable and should be ignored due to the age of the materials and printing.

Items should be washed inside out at a temperature of 20°C, ideally on a hand wash cycle if available. For jerseys made over 10 years ago, we recommend hand washing at low temperatures only.

Under no circumstances should fabric softener be used, as it can remove prints and badges from the jerseys. Similarly, avoid ironing, tumble drying, or mixing colors, as this can cause irreversible damage.

Discover Classics Football cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during washing if these instructions are not followed.

Repairs

We do not offer a repair service, but most wear and tear can be easily repaired. Hems and loose stitching can often be repaired with a needle and thread, but if you are not comfortable doing it yourself, most tailors will be able to assist.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days of purchase, but processing times may be extended during busier periods. Estimated delivery dates will always be updated on the checkout page before purchase and cannot be changed afterwards. You can find the estimated delivery dates in the order confirmation emails above the product information. This is the first email we send you after your order has been placed.

Tracking Your Order

We usually send two emails related to the status of your order. The first will confirm the creation of the order, and the second will confirm its dispatch. This second email will contain a tracking number and a link so you can track your order.

Please wait 24 hours for Royal Mail tracking numbers to be updated. GLOBALMAIL tracking numbers may take up to 72 hours to show the first update.

Your national postal service will only have information about your order once it has cleared customs. The customs inspection process can take up to two weeks, depending on the destination country.

Delivery Delays

Occasionally, issues may arise, but our support team will do everything possible to address any developments and ensure that orders reach their intended destination as quickly as possible.

We define a late order as one that has not arrived within the dates provided at checkout. If you do not remember these dates, you can find them in your original order confirmation email between the billing information and the product details.

However, a late delivery does not mean your order is lost; in fact, it is extremely rare for orders to disappear completely in transit. In the rare case that an order is declared lost by the carrier, we may provide a full refund or a replacement order, depending on your preference and stock availability. Loss claims can only be made after a certain period post-shipment. This varies by country but is typically 30 business days.

If an order does not arrive by the end of the provided delivery window, please contact us, and we will open an investigation with our shipping partners on your behalf. We cannot do this before.

Our shipping partners will then conduct a search for the order in their network, providing an update that we will relay once received. This process usually takes between 2 and 3 business days, but please allow up to 7 days for the process to be completed, as it may take a bit longer during busier times.

We cannot investigate an order or declare it lost if it has been shipped more than 80 days ago. Please contact us as soon as possible if your order is delayed.

In some situations, our support team may choose to skip the tracking step of this process. However, they will only do this if our shipping partners have already communicated potential delays to the destination country, as tracking will not provide any additional information.

We hope you are satisfied with your purchase, but if not, you can return it and request an exchange or refund according to the following terms:

📆 You may return an item within 14 days of receipt to receive store credit or a full refund of the price paid for that particular item. Items must be sent to CFS within 14 days of notifying us of your intention to return.

🔍 Returned items must be in the same condition as when they were sent. This does not include removing the packaging, but does include removing tags. We reserve the right to refuse or reduce returns if an item is not in its original condition.

🛑 The following items are exempt from these terms and we cannot accept them back unless they are defective:

underwear (including briefs, skins, compression tops, etc.), swimwear, slippers, bathrobes, towels.

The cost of returning items is the responsibility of the buyer.

It is possible to exchange for an item of equal value, provided the new item is available on our website. We cannot reserve or remove requested items from the site before the return reaches our warehouse. Therefore, if you are concerned about stock levels, we recommend purchasing the new item and returning the old one for a refund.

If you wish to exchange for an item of higher value than the one you are returning, we will provide a voucher code of equal value to the returned item upon arrival at our warehouse.

You can also exchange your item for store credit. If you return an item for store credit, we will include the cost of standard shipping to ensure free shipping on your next purchase. This excludes returns in the UK over £50 and returns in the EU over €100, for which shipping is already free. Placing a new order with store credit is simple. The credit can be used on any purchase made on our site and does not expire.

Discover Classics Football cannot be held responsible for returned orders that are not received. We recommend sending returns with a tracked service, noting the tracking number in case it is needed.

Once received at our warehouse, your return will be processed within 10 business days. We cannot process any refunds or credits before receipt.

You will need your order number, purchase date, and relevant product codes (all of which can be found in your initial confirmation email or in your account dashboard).
